Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information PrarambhADX ("we", "us", "our") collects when you use our website and app, why we collect it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using PrarambhADX, you agree to the practices described here.

Account information - your name, email address, and password (stored as a one-way hash, never in plain text). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google instead of a password.

Career profile data - your career field, current role, target role, experience level, timeline, and the skills you tell us about, all of which power your Career GPS roadmap and job matching.

Resume content - any resume sections you fill in (experience, education, skills, projects, etc.) and files you upload for export, stored via our file hosting provider (Cloudinary).

Practice activity - quiz answers, code you submit for coding challenges, and mock interview data. Mock interviews use your browser's built-in speech recognition to turn speech into text; audio is processed by your browser/OS vendor for that purpose and is not stored on our servers - we only keep the resulting transcript and scorecard.

Job activity - jobs you save, apply to, or interact with, used to show you match scores and recommendations.

Usage data - activity streaks, progress through your roadmap, and general product analytics (e.g. which features you use), collected to improve the product.

Device & log data - IP address, browser type, and similar technical data collected automatically by our servers for security and debugging.

To create and secure your account, and to authenticate you on future visits.

To generate your personalized Career GPS roadmap, milestone tests, quizzes, and job/skill match scores.

To power AI-assisted features (roadmap generation, quiz generation, interview questions, coaching tips) - see the "AI Processing" section below for how third-party AI providers are involved.

To run and judge code you submit in coding challenges.

To show you relevant job listings and calculate how well your skills match them.

To communicate with you about your account, product updates, or (only if you opt in) tips and newsletters.

To maintain the security, integrity, and performance of the product.

PrarambhADX uses third-party services to power parts of the product. These providers process the minimum data needed to perform their function on our behalf, under their own privacy and security terms:

• AI generation (Groq) - receives the prompts needed to generate your roadmap, quizzes, interview questions, and coaching feedback (e.g. your target role, skills, and relevant progress data). It is not used to generate ads or sold onward.

• Code execution (Piston, self-hosted by us) - receives the code you submit to a coding challenge purely to run it against test cases and return the result.

• File storage (Cloudinary) - stores resume-related files and images you upload or export.

• Sign-in (Google OAuth) - used only if you choose "Sign in with Google"; we receive your basic profile info, not your Google password.

• Job data - job listings shown on the platform are sourced from public job APIs and company career pages; applying to a job may take you to that employer's own site, which has its own privacy practices.

We use browser local storage (not third-party tracking cookies) to remember your session/login token, theme preference (light/dark), and font size setting, so the app works the way you left it. You can clear this at any time by clearing your browser's site data, though you'll be signed out as a result.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers listed above (to operate the product), when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of PrarambhADX and its users.

We keep your account and activity data for as long as your account is active, so your roadmap, resumes, and progress stay intact. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we're required to retain it for legal or security reasons.

Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, not plain text. Access to production data is restricted, and connections to our app are encrypted in transit. No system is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data using industry-standard practices.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent for optional communications at any time. You can update most of your profile directly in Settings, or contact us using the details below to exercise any of these rights, including full account deletion.

PrarambhADX is intended for users who are at least 16 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we'll remove it.

Some of the third-party providers we use may process data outside your home country. Where this happens, we rely on those providers' own safeguards and industry-standard contractual protections.

We may update this policy as PrarambhADX evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date below when we do, and for material changes we'll make a reasonable effort to notify you directly.
